Eagles' Chip Kelly: Sam Bradford's our quarterback

Wrapping up the Week 6 NFL festivities on "Monday Night Football", we had a nice-looking NFC East rivalry game between the Giants and the Eagles.

The Eagles and Giants are now both tied at 3-3. The Dallas Cowboys (2-3), still enjoying their bye week, must have watched with glee as Philly sputtered to the victory. Chip Kelly's offense was sloppy with interceptions from Bradford, but DeMarco Murray made an impact with a big game alongside Ryan Mathews, who played after being listed as questionable with a hamstring injury.

The closest thing we got to a look at the former hero of the rebellion was , much like the closest thing to a competent offense on Monday night were the few moments when Bradford wasn't throwing INTs.

"He's getting more familiar in terms of what we're doing, but we can't continue to do that against really good football teams", Kelly said.

The Eagles' first lead came in the second quarter when Nolan Carroll stepped in front of Manning's pass to the sideline and returned it 17 yards for a touchdown. The Giants and Eagles will play again the last week of the season. Well, on the scoresheet it says Philadelphia 27 New York 7, which doesn't even seem right because, just to the naked eye, the Iggles were just as bad as the G-Men. Bradford and Riley Cooper got mixed up on a route and that led to an interception and despite turning the ball over multiple times, the Giants could not take advantage.

"We put ourselves in a bad position, didn't accomplish what we needed to, didn't take advantage of the opportunities that were there for us", Coughlin said. He played Monday, catching seven passes for 61 yards and a touchdown. Manning finished 24-for-38 for 189 yards with one touchdown pass and two interceptions. Because Bradford threw two more second-half interceptions.

On the offensive side of the ball, the fitness issues persisted, as the Giants' offensive line could not contain the Eagles' pass rush for any duration of time, leading to many plays ending with Eli Manning on his back. "Sam's our quarterback. So we've got full confidence in Sam".

For the Eagles - particularly the defense - it's a matter of playing to the sellout crowd. Caleb Sturgis would tack on a field goal to make it 17-7 Eagles at the break. He was seemingly every time he went back to throw as the Eagles forced the Giants into passing situations.

"You can't play like that", New York coach Tom Coughlin said.

The Eagles scored the tying touchdown when Cooper got behind safety Brandon Meriweather and cornerback Jayron Hosley and caught Bradford's 32-yard pass in the end zone to make it 7-7 with 3:33 left in the opening period.

The Giants need to move on quickly from this loss and start preparing for yet another divisional game.

New York had three turnovers, committed 12 penalties and went a paltry 4-for-13 on third down. DL George Selvie (calf) was active and started in Ayers' place...

Texas A&M product Damontre Moore has flashed potential throughout his three years with the Giants. Kendricks, who signed a four-year, $29 million contract extension ($16.4 million guaranteed) in the offseason, also missed all or parts of five games last year with a calf injury. Manning, who was sacked just four times in the Giants' first five games, was sacked three times Monday night and was penalized twice for intentional grounding.
