Rosie O'Donnell honors Kristin Chenoweth, "the cutest thing ever born"

Then the 18 year old told Inside Edition in an interview that aired this week that she does not love O'Donnell and can't forgive her for kicking her out of the house and telling the world that she is mentally unstable. "It hasn't been easy, but we love her very much, and we hope she's safe and starts to make a few better choices".

"The fact that this is a girl whose mom is Rosie O'Donnell, she is following in the family tradition of being outspoken and making her life public", Cogen tells Yahoo Parenting.

Rosie again pointed to her daughter's mental illness, which she explained has affected Chelsea and their family for years.

"I have a daughter who's in a crisis", O'Donnell told Entertainment Tonight. During her interview with Inside Edition, Chelsea seems to hint that the problems began after Rosie and Kelli Carpenter divorced.

Deanna, who gave birth to Chelsea in 1997, denies Rosie's accusations. "Still, what she is saying is incredibly common, and I would say it is more likely to happen with adopted children because adopted kids struggle at this age with separation and independence, both because of adoption issues and because, developmentally and emotionally, that's where teenagers are at 18. So I kind of just got really depressed and didn't want to do anything", said Chelsea when asked about the divorce, which reportedly took place in 2007, when Chelsea was only around 10-years-old.

"You are not my kid anymore", the messages continued. "You're the one that needs medical help!!" Unsurprisingly, Rosie said she has no plans to tune in.
