San Antonio Spurs vs. Washington Wizards: Keys to Game and Prediction

Bradley Beal's game-winning three pointer with 0.3 seconds remaining proved it was not San Antonio's night as the Spurs fell 102-99 to the Washington Wizards inside the Verizon Center.

Kawhi Leonard led the Spurs with 23 points and Tony Parker added 17 points, including a three-pointer with 7.9 seconds remaining in regulation to tie the game at 99.

Bradley Beal drained a game-winning 3-pointer vs. the Spurs on Wednesday, finishing with 25 points, three triples, five rebounds, four assists, three steals and one turnover.

Even the NBA's reigning Defender of the Year couldn't stop Bradley Beal on Wednesday night. That's really à propos of nothing, but it felt right to mention it.

Forward Kawhi Leonard scored 23 points and Parker 17 for San Antonio. Manu Ginobli leads in assists with 4.3 per game. A strong first half from Otto Porter Jr. kept in the game, with the help of nine first half assists from John Wall.

The 3 young guns for the Wizards led the sizzling 4 quarter charge, including a highlight reel slam by Beal right past Leonard on a fast break. LaMarcus Aldridge had 10 points and 14 rebounds for the Spurs, who committed 21 turnovers and had their three-game win streak snapped. Washington jumped out to a big lead early in the first quarter, but the Spurs fought back largely with a stellar defensive effort to be up by 10 points at one time before taking a four-point lead into halftime.

The 22-year-old Beal has scored at least 24 points in every game this season including Saturday's 117-110 loss to the New York Knicks.

Leonard scored 18 points in the first half and Porter topped Washington with 15 of his 19 points.

Spurs: "What would you like to hear?" We did drills before we came? Or we sought counsel from a yogi?
