The Acer Liquid Z530 has just been launched in India alongside the Liquid Z630s that we covered earlier today.

Talking about the Liquid Z530, it comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with Zero Air Gap design.

Connectivity comes through its Cat4 LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0 with LE connectivity. A 4000mAh battery completes the package. It also includes a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion upto 32GB.

The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Liquid UI on top. It measures 144x70.3x8.9mm and is backed by a 2420mAh battery. While the Z630s will be available from November 12, the Z530 will be available from tonight. Its "Always Ready Everywhere" capability helps users to multi-task between work and entertainment.

The production facility will be operational by December 2015, according to Liew and it would have a production capacity of over 1 lakh phones per month. "As the demand for the smartphones increase, the investment and production capacity of the plant will also be scaled up appropriately". "Acer is globally known for its performance and smart computing systems, they are now entering the Indian smartphone market and we are happy to partner with them in this journey".

Acer is a very well known brand, but their smartphones aren't exactly their number 1 business.
