Cancer-stricken singer Joey Feek hopes for Christmas miracle - that she could

Joey was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer in May 2014 and has undergone multiple treatments, including a hysterectomy, chemotherapy and radiation. Joey's cancer had not only returned, but had spread to her colon.

Joey Feek has faced her terminal cancer battle with "big smiles" and determination since she and her husband announced they were stopping treatment last month.

Joey Feek may be facing the end of her life, but she's still finding time to smile.

In a new interview that was released last week, Joey opened up to The Tennessean about her battle with the disease and what it feels like to be living out her final days. They said they will make sure they arrive at their home in Tennessee. "That's how I look at it", she told the paper. "That concept was just something that I had never heard or thought of before, and it really struck me".

During this heartbreaking time, Rory has been keeping a blog, and in one of his latest posts, he noted they felt "disappointment" once they learned there was nothing else that could be done to help Joey's dire situation. "And how proud she is to be their mother", Rory wrote.

"I wasn't mad at [God], I wasn't upset", she explained. "I know he's close".

"It just knocked me out".

"Our tears fell with hers", Rory said. Joey had had Russell, earlier that morning, find the quilt that Miss Joan had made her at the farm - the one with the log cabin pattern with lots of red on it - and bring it up in the bus with him.
