First Fallout 4 patch lands this week on PC first

Bethesda recently launched a trailer that was live action with the name of The Wanderer, but the actual graphics of Fallout 4 don't live up to those shown in the trailer for the game.

A game enthusiast takes a photograph of a "Mr. Handy" robot in promotion to "Fallout 4" at the Annual Gaming Industry Conference E3 at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 16, 2015 in Los Angeles, California. Unfortunately, console gamers won't get to enjoy the cool weapon. The harpoon gun replaces the game's Railway Rifle when installed. While it's unclear why Bethesda chose to leave the gun out, it's possible that it may be linked to a cancelled underwater area, or that it was simply a test item. It's not clear exactly why the Harpoon Gun was left out of the game, but tell-tale bubble effects coming from the harpoon suggests the gun was intended for underwater use. PC gamers can download the Harpoon Gun via NexusMods.

Referring to bugs as "unintentional consequences that are sometimes bad” caused by the game's player freedom, Bethesda  its first patch would enter a PC beta this week.

The harpoon gun was discovered by xxdeathknight72xx and shared on the Nexus Mods website.

Considering that Fallout 4 is a massive game with tons of secrets yet to be discovered just by playing through, it remains to be seen if there's more cut content hidden in the game's files.

Fallout 4 is out now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
