HTC One A9, HTC Desire 828 Launched In India

HTC has announced that its One A9 smartphone will receive operating system (OS) updates 15 days after they reach the Nexus devices.

"MTN is excited to offer this niche smartphone to its customers who are looking for a smartphone that is distinct to what is now available in the market".

"We are estimating that the devices will come to the country in two weeks which is when we shall reveal the pricing and availability as there might be a surprise for buyers", Chia-Lin Chang, president of global sales at HTC, said at the company's launch event in New Delhi. Powered by Qualcomm's 64-bit Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM, the smartphone also features 32GB of built-in storage and also supports microSD card slot for further expansion to 2TB. It packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, OIS, BSI sensor, and full-HD video recording. For updates on the device's possible release in India, check back on this site. In its front lies and HTC UltraPixel fixed focus camera with f/2.0 aperture and it can also capture videos in full HD resolution. The physical home button placed below the display also includes the fingerprint for better security.

As for the HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM, it shares a few features with the A9 including the cameras and connectivity options aside from those Dual SIM capabilities. It's powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM and a 2800mAh battery.

As for the HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM (see above), the company launched the handset in China earlier this month.

The Desire 828 smartphone features 16 GB internal storage, which can be expanded to 2TB.

The HTC Desire 828 is a dual-SIM phone with 4G support and has a 2,800 mAh battery. It measures 157.7x78.8x7.9mm. Much like other recently launched HTC Desire smartphones, the Desire 828 Dual SIM features HTC BoomSound technology, which is complemented by Dolby Audio as well.
