Bedford Wireless Zone, US Marine Corps Reserve Collecting Toys For Tots

The Atlanta Toys for Tots Campaign, which is a local affiliate of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program, supports 17 counties in metro-Atlanta, including Cherokee County.

They fill about six to seven truckloads of toys each year and then stop by the WNDU studios to drop off their donations for the WNDU Toys for Tots collection drive.

The Bedford Wireless Zone is partnering with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve to participate in its Toys for Tots campaign. With Darien's help and generosity, the Noroton Fire Department hopes to collect over 2,000 toys.

Again, children need both, and your giving this year will likely help provide them with those necessities. "This year we're nearly pushing 2000 kids".

Beginning on November 30, and ending December 14, we will be accepting toys and other gift items for children from infants through age 16.

All of the toys collected will be given to children in Calhoun, Kalamazoo, Branch and St. Joseph counties.

Would you like to do something special for families in need this Christmas? But if you can do something to give them that extra little moment of happiness this Christmas, please consider helping Toys for Tots do so.

Brunick said, "Seeing the face of the kids when they come in and see the toys and stuff like that, it's just worth everything".
