Motorola Moto 360 (2nd gen) smartwatch: What's new?

The new Moto 360 (2015) comes in two different styles: Moto 360, Moto 360 for Women and Moto 360 Sport. The tech giant is offering great discounts on the Moto 360 smartwatch and the second generation of Moto X and Moto G smartphones. The company has also introduced 2 variants exclusively for women, one being a rose gold variant with blush leather metal. The sale will be exclusive on Flipkart and Myntra.

The company claims that the new Moto 360 2nd generation smartwatch has the largest screen-to-case ratio of any smartwatch available till today.

As for other specifications, the Moto 360 (Gen 2) comes in two screen sizes: 1.37-inch (of screen resolution 360x325 pixels and a 263ppi pixel density), and 1.56-inch (of screen resolution 360x330 pixels and a 233ppi pixel density).

Another major change is that the Moto 360 (2015) has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip with 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and a Adreno 305 450MHz GPU. All the variants are dust and water resistant with IP67 certification. Innovative, isn't it? This is exactly what Motorola has kept in mind and come out with their of smartwatches. Among the sensors, it comes loaded with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and a gyroscope, apart from a vibration and haptics engine. The new Moto 360 retains the rounded watch face of the original Moto 360, as well its jarring flat tire at the bottom of the display.

Powered by wear, the new Moto 360 gives users complete control right from the wrist so you can stay in the moment, without constantly grabbing your phone from your pocket or purse.
