Xiaomi Mi 5 Listed on E-Commerce Site; Price, Specifications Revealed!

Xiaomi's eagerly anticipated Mi 5 smartphone has been leaked once again, this time courtesy an e-commerce website.

Xiaomi Mi 5 smartphone: We have a fresh piece of information about the much-rumoured upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5 smartphone. It lists the Xiaomi Mi 5 at $599 which is significantly more expensive that its predecessors, but considering the hardware the upcoming phone will be coming with, it's a relative steal for the price. However, it is not known as to this is the price of the 16GB variant or any other.

For a bit of background story, numerous analysts in China have previously predicted that the Xiaomi Mi5 will be the first smartphone equipped with Qualcomm's latest chipset: the Snapdragon 820. The phone will be available in three memory options: 16 GB, 64GB and 128GB. According to the listing, it has a 20MP main shutter while the front camera will have a 8MP camera. The entire thing will be powered by a 3,800 mAh battery and will run on Xiaomi's own MIUI 7 based off the Android 5.1 operating system.

However, it is to be noted that Oppomart does not have a reliable track record as it has listed inaccurate details earlier.

The previous reports have suggested that the phone will be priced around Rs 20,000 in India and come with an infrared technology-based fingerprint scanner and likely to hit market before February. Also, the device is said to be launched on January 21.
