Eva Longoria and Jose Antonio Baston are Engaged!

The 40-year-old Telenovela announced the exciting news of their engagement on her account with a cute photo of them kissing in Dubai.

Having been known to wear her heart on her sleeve, Eva and Jose made their public debut at a dinner in Mexico City only a few weeks after they started dating.

It features the couple - who are in Dubai on behalf of the Global Gift Foundation - swapping passionate spit, just a short while (we presume) after Baston popped the big question.

The proposal comes as a surprise, since Eva had ruled out walking down the aisle for a third time, saying a year ago: "Marriage and kids are not on the horizon".

They say third time's the charm and it looks like "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria isn't afraid to take the plunge a third time.

According to Reuters, Baston serves as a director and the President of Television and Contents of Grupo Televise SAB.

And while you were busy swooning over the actress' stunning ruby and diamond engagement ring, we were busy finding out all about her fiancé. "I'm in love, that has a lot to do with it", she said. She was also briefly married to actor Tyler Christopher in 2002.

Eva Longoria is now engaged to Baston, who has an estimated net worth of over $12 million.

Eva previously admitted she would never marry again following her divorce from National Basketball Association star Tony Parker in 2010.

"He's a good dresser", she said of her beau. "He has been sweeping her off her feet and courting her like a proper gentleman", a source told People in 2013. "I always have to step it up".
