Xbox Live Games with Gold for January 2016 Revealed

Since the Xbox One had just a DVD drive, these games came on multiple discs. As mentioned in the January Games with Gold announcement article earlier today, Human Revolution was near universally praised, but was knocked for its boss fights.

For the Xbox One, the biggest title for free download in January is Killer Instinct: Season One Ultra Edition.

Seems like a decent line up to me. It's been a while since we have heard anything official, but it seems like both games will be coming out early(ish) next year. Given that Microsoft are offering two AAA games with Killer Instinct and Deus Ex: Human Revolution, what would be the ideal response from Sony in your opinion? The news comes several months after Spencer confirmed that after the game's Xbox One port went live a PC release would be available as a follow-up.

Of all the exclusives available dirt cheap on Xbox 360, Fable 2 remains one of its greatest and most memorable highlights. That’s not to that you shouldn’t celebrate today’s news by firing up the standard edition of Deus Ex: Human Revolution if you’ve got it lying around.

As usual, all games are available only for a limited time, as part of the ongoing Games with Gold program, so don't let the new year slow you down. The Xbox 360 games will of course be playable on the Xbox One as well.

Also recently mentioned by Microsoft is that Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download some of these Xbox 360 games for free.

Microsoft has promised to dedicate more time to the PC platform, but has failed to make a substantial impact thus far.

Killer Instinct: Season 1 Ultra Edition will be available free throughout January. Well, now they can, with one caveat.

From December 16-31, Xbox 360 users can enjoy two games.

Which multi-disk Xbox 360 games would you like to see brought forward to the Xbox One via backwards compatibility?
