In fact, there were reports that Anna was already contemplating of divorcing Josh and start a new chapter in her life with her four kids.

While Josh's heartbroken family reportedly hoped he would return home for the holidays, a source close to the family People Magazine it would be a surprise if he were released before Christmas. When Josh gets out of rehab, he won't be served with divorce papers according to his wife of seven years.

As reported by the Gospel Herald, the oldest child of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar checked into a faith-based rehab earlier this year after he confessed to struggling with a pornography addiction and infidelity amid reports he had active accounts on Ashley Madison, a website created to facilitate adulterous affairs.

Anna says she has no plans for a Duggar divorce, and has so far stood by her husband despite his transgressions against her and the Duggar family.

Anna added that she is now praying for her husband, Josh, and prays she will keep loving him and that she will be able to forgive him, and let God work to restore their marriage and make them whole again.

"It's so hard when it comes to the kids", the source said. That goes without saying that some of them actually believe that Josh does not deserve it since he was the reason why the family is in a financial quagmire at this time.

Anna Duggar raised eyebrows with a comment she made on the latest episode of Jill & Jessa: Counting On.

So she knew the child molestation scandal long before it came out in the media, which she described as something that have only ripped an open wound.

"Anna felt the visit was much needed", the source says.

She admitted that there were a lot of pressure from her family to divorce Josh especially when it came out in public.
