"Glee's" Mark Salling Arrested For Child Pornography — LAPD

No word yet on details, but doesn't look like Salling can sing his way out of this one. "He was booked for possession of child pornography". TMZ reports that police found "hundreds of images" on Salling's computer.

According to sources an ex-girlfriend of the actor provided the tip-off to police. During the police's search of Mark's house, where he reportedly lived alone, many other electronic devices including cell phones and tablets were seized. And sources told TMZ the images were of children "significantly younger than 15- and 16-year-olds".

Im says Salling had been investigated by the LAPD's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, but he did not elaborate. Jail records show Salling is being held on $20,000 bail.

Salling, who's also a singer/songwriter, was a regular castmember on Glee until June 2013, when he shifted to a role as recurring guest star.

It is not Salling's first run-in with the law.

Of note, the actor reached a $2.7 million settlement in March after accusations from Los Angeles woman, Roxanne Gorzela of sexual battery.

"You hear about fraudulent lawsuits all the time", Salling told E!

"His arrest did not come about as part of an online sting", LAPD Lt. Andrea Grossman said.
