Back To The Future IV - Is It Happening?

It has been 107 years since the Chicago Cubs last won a World Series, but anyone who has seen the movie "Back to the Future II" knew this would be the year. In 1908 the Chicago Cubs beat the Detroit Tigers in the series. If the Mets have anything to say about it, that might be the Cubs' next chance to win it all.

The rumor mill regarding a possible Back To The Future 4 has spawned a whole community of fans pushing for this to happen. He was born and bred a Cardinals fan, according to the Daily Herald.

Gale said the prediction has triggered resurgence in the movie. With that science fiction possibly becoming fact, Christopher Lloyd, 76, who portrayed one of the film's stars, want to be on the field if the Cubs make it to the big game! That is, as many of you already know, the very same date that Doc Brown brings Marty McFly to in Back to the Future II. The collection features a range of apparel, which pay tribute to the 30th anniversary of Back to the Future, Bobby's favorite film.

"Being a baseball fan, I thought, 'OK, let's come up with one of the most unlikely scenarios we can think of".

If Chicago makes it to the World Series, Lloyd said it would fun to throw out the first pitch.

The film - which although released in 1989 is set largely in 1985 - accurately anticipated a few other elements of life in 2015, including the aforementioned video news flash.

The teaser is meant to warm us up for a longer, five-minute clip that Toyota will drop on the 21st, but it honestly warms our hearts a little to see our old friends Doc and Marty catching up.
