Russian airstrikes kill 45 in Syria

As said by the activist groups on Tuesday, not less than 400 people had lost their lives by the Russian air strikes in Syria, since the campaign started three weeks ago.

"In addition, aid agencies are growing more and more concerned for families living outdoors as the weather is getting colder especially overnight".

Control of Aleppo city, once the country's economic hub, has been divided between the regime and rebels since mid-2012. "Work on a plan for Assad's departure is underway He can stay for six months and we will accept this so long as there is a guarantee that he will leave".

Government officials said there was no sign yet of people from Aleppo reaching Turkey in large numbers, adding that there was capacity to initially accommodate 55-60,000 in a camp in the Turkish border town of Kilis.

The United States and Russian Federation are conducting separate air campaigns in Syria, which they have said are targeting Isil.

Opposition forces including moderate and fighters have positions in the Jabal Al Akrad region, which is in the far north of coastal Latakia.

The Observatory said Tuesday a few 243 opposition forces had been killed in Russian air strikes since September 30, including 52 from IS.

Among the civilians were 36 children and 34 women, according to Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman.

Both groups said the dead included army defector Basel Zimmo, who was the commander of the First Coastal Division, a rebel faction active in the area.

Ahmad said a fighter trained in the use of the anti-tank TOW missiles had also been killed.

The MOU did not establish any military cooperation between the two in Syria; neither did it include intelligence sharing or any sharing of target information in Syria, said Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook here at a briefing.

On October. 18, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu warned European leaders that the Aleppo offensive combined with attacks in the area by Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) could "cause another wave of refugees".

The commander of another such group, the Nour al-Din al-Zinki Brigades, was killed in fighting south of the city of Aleppo on Monday, as a government offensive in the area has reportedly displaced tens of thousands of people.
