Bernie Sanders launches first presidential campaign ad

The ad is a one-minute biographical tour through Sanders's childhood in a Brooklyn tenement, his career in political activism (featuring photos of Martin Luther King Jr.), his move to Vermont, and his presidential campaign.

"He says what real voters want to hear", Stephen Steininger said. As she has done repeatedly over the last two weeks, Hillary Clinton showed what a formidable candidate she is.

Sanders surged in New Hampshire polls during the summer as he drew massive crowds across the country. "It's just that when women talk, a few people think we're shouting".

When we find out who the candidate is, they'll be debated with the individual candidates. Bernie Sanders understands this important reality and should be commended for his platform and the fact that he is calling Hillary Clinton out on her inadequate marijuana policy position.

In the Democratic primary, Sanders presents himself as the most anti-war candidate and, like Trump, rails against the Trans-Pacific Partnership and previous trade pacts, such as the North American Free Trade Agreement, from a nationalist framework.

Sanders spent a portion of Halloween trick-or-treating with three of his grandchildren in Lebanon, N.H. Sanders' son Levi lives in nearby Claremont, and Sanders seized on the opportunity to mix it up with Granite State voters while spending time with family, according to a pool report supplied by the campaign.

Starting Monday, the ad will run for ten days on network affiliates in Iowa and New Hampshire, the campaign told CBS News.

"At this time of year Florida has more non-stop flights than any other time and to take two hours out of your day would reap huge benefits, both financial and from a visual perspective", she said. While his poll numbers begin to level, Sanders will have to further adapt and find a way to reach more potential supporters while staying on his limited budget. Bernie Sanders gained 46,000 Twitter followers during the debate and also 35,000 more likes on Facebook. Sanders was less clear about that. "Virtually everything that I am talking about is supported by the vast majority of the American people, And virtually everything that I'm talking about, and my hopes and dreams for America, are being done in one or another country around the world". But Sanders continues to hold onto a solid segment of the Democratic electorate, getting the backing of 30 percent leaned Democratic voters.

Sanders said he regretted that such drills are necessary but pointed to his support in 1988 and 1990 for prohibition on certain types of assault weapons and his current proposal for expanding background checks.

Sanders alluded to this banking problem in his remarks, saying, "Recognized businesses in states that have legalized marijuana should be fully able to use the banking system without fear of federal prosecution".

Cox suggested organizations such as the Progressive Democrats of America might take the reins to "capture and perpetuate the enthusiasm we see for Sanders".
