NY Knicks: Tipoff time, channel and radio

The two-time National Basketball Association champion LeBron James got his first look at the rookie Porzingis last week when the NY Knicks visited the Cleveland Cavaliers, and tomorrow evening, the Cavs will be heading to NY for the first time in this 2015-16 National Basketball Association season to play against the Knicks. A heart breaking loss for Knicks fans, but, it was sure nice to see that the young man can hit a big shot.

ABOUT THE KNICKS (4-5): Porzingis was in position to attempt the game-winner on Wednesday in part because Anthony missed badly on his own go-ahead attempt seconds earlier, clanging a jumper off the side of the backboard. The 7-3 Latvian finished the night with 10 points and a season-high 15 rebounds to mark his fourth double-double in the last six games. His three-point shooting has been off too, at 31.6 percent, but he is knocking down 2.3 per game.

However, they have a tough time ahead of them as LeBron James and the rest of the Cavs are coming.

A huge bright spot for the Knicks this season has been their first round pick Porzingis. Kevin Love has posted five double-doubles during the winning streak and is averaging 17.6 points and 12 boards on the season as he continues to grow more comfortable with his role on the team. Even LeBron James, the best player in the world, was impressed.

"They gave him an open shot". With James and the crew favored by 6.5, the Cavs should have no problem winning this game. They'll be offering a chance to play with Porzingis, the future. As for the Cavs, in order to be successful they need to begin the game hot and move the ball efficiently, which is something they have done very well this season. LeBron notched 23 points against the Knicks in the first matchup of the year and is averaging 27.4 ppg against NY in 41 career contests and has dropped 50 on them at The Garden twice in his first go-round with the Cavs. A team that plays at a relatively slow pace, with a defense full of slightly inattentive dudes, and an offense that lacks ball movement, should be right up his alley! Love is obviously a very good rebounder, but it will be interesting to see how he handles a much longer opponent than he is used to seeing. "He's confident in his ability and he should be".

Tonight's matchup between these two Eastern Conference teams should be a good one. Carmelo Anthony arrived via trade, and that was precipitated by second-tier free agent Amar'e Stoudemire signing in 2010, and outplaying expectations. Although, the team has improved, I expect them to fall to the extremely powerful and loaded Cavaliers.
