Rivers Government pledges $20000 per goal against Swaziland

Super Eagles players have vowed to send their Swaziland opponent back empty handed as both teams clash in the return leg of the 2018 World Cup qualification match in Port Harcourt on Tuesday.

The Secretary to the Rivers State Government, Kenneth Kobani, made the pledge to the Super Eagles on behalf of the state after attending their final training session on Monday.

Bulunga reiterated the position he held after the first leg in Lobamba on Friday, declaring that his team was aiming to record one of the biggest upsets in African football in recent years.

"It was a game that we went all out to win", former Ajax and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Oliseh told Super Sport.

"Hopefully, we will get the win that we will be pushing for on Tuesday".

"Yes, of course we were playing at home, the first half we wanted to see how they came to meet us but we discovered that they were not that aggressive".

Captain Ahmed Musa said they would step up their game to guarantee their passage to the next round of the qualifiers.

"We can't give any excuses, we did not bring out "A" game to the pitch", he said.

"When we are at home, I think with the fans, with everybody behind us, there is nobody that can stop us right here", the defender said.

"We know the importance of this second leg, what we need is victory, that we are going for and that we will get to progress in the qualifiers", he added.

"It is not about them in their home because a score draw can put us through".
