Sony Xperia Z5 Handsets Get New Camera App

As for the roll out is concerned, the rule is that the newest Android devices are the first to obtain the upgrade. Fortunately, Sony's been listing to the complaints of its users and is now delivering a camera update to the Sony Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact and Z5 Premium which will dramatically improve the camera usability on all three devices.

According to reports, last October, the electronics maker Sony began the build of the Android M update for the Xperia Z5 series, meaning that owners of Xperia Z5 could be in for the Android M update in November and December. The release date will be dependent on the carrier like AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon. We also reached out to Sony India and in response they said that they never experienced any such issue with any of their devices in the past and this may be one-off case.

Christian Today stated other handsets that would definitely receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Now, if they could just find a way to get multiple service providers in the USA to carry the Xperia Z5 line, Sony's smartphone division might actually be able to make a profit in 2016. Apart from the change in UI, Sony has also introduced a few new features. This then suggests that the new OS might indeed hit the Sony Xperia series soon. Temporarily, users of these handsets will have to wait for further announcements from Google and Sony.
