EICMA 2015: Troy Bayliss Introduces 2016 Ducati Scrambler Flat Track Pro

Ducati unveiled the new Scrambler, which comes with a 400cc engine named as Scrambler Sixty2. The Sixty2 is a Ducati Scrambler that draws its inspiration from the youth street culture, skateboards, street food, pop music and, above all, the pop art that, back in 1962.

The Scrambler Sixty2 is powered by a 399cc, Desmodromic air-cooled EURO4 compliant engine that is capable of producing 41bhp of power. "These, together with the Monster 1200 R, already presented in Frankfurt, and a new Ducati Scrambler version developed jointly with Italian Independent to be presented at the end of the year, bring the number of new Ducati bikes for 2016 to nine".

The Ducati XDiavel is equipped with Ducati Power Launch, a push-button activated system, to help riders get the jump off the line. The new entry-level Ducati features a Showa 41 mm fork, a steel tube swingarm, a 14-litre stainless steel fuel tank and a black exhaust shield.

Introducing their touring range into India, Ducati has also now started deliveries of the groundbreaking Multistrada 1200 and 1200S.

The Italians are in for more, though, and the Flat Track Pro version of the Scrambler is part of their fresh arsenal.

The 2016 Ducati XDiavel has belt final drive, a first for a Ducati motorcycle. The ergonomics are also adjustable up to 60 different positions, and standard fitment also includes an extended seat and passenger backrest.
