Rahul Gandhi's United Kingdom firm a shell company to receive defence kickbacks

Swamy insisted that the Congress vice-president has lots of issues to clarify and the matter might go to the ethics committee. I will file the first case in the Enforcement Directorate. "So, an FIR is to be registered under FCRA, PMLLA, FEMA". I will ask ED. I have traced Backops as a shell co.to companies receiving kickbacks in Indian defense deals' illegal commission. Another press convention (sic),"Swamy had earlier stated in a collection of tweets".

Sources in the Congress said Wednesday Mr. Jaitley's meeting with Mr. Gandhi was welcome, but the Centre needed to speak to the leaders of the Congress in the two Houses of Parliament Mallikarjun Kharge in the Lok Sabha and Ghulam Nabi Azad in the Rajya Sabha - on the issue of the GST Bill.

Swamy said on November 16 that Rahul had declared himself to be a British citizen in the registration papers of a private company in London.

Asked if the poll outcome would hasten the elevation of Rahul Gandhi as party President, Mr Pilot said its timing depends on the Congress Working Committee, party President Sonia Gandhi and Rahul himself.

Earlier, the senior BJP chief had requested Rahul Gandhi to launch all of the paperwork that he has in his possession relating to his "citizenship".

However, the Congress Party rubbished the claims, saying that Swamy and the BJP were repeating rehashed allegations levelled earlier on multiple occasions.

"The Congress people are all huge liars".

At a press conference here, Dr. Swamy shared copies of the company's annual returns, in which Mr. Gandhi's identity is certified as British.

However, the Congress termed the allegations false and said the BJP was resorting to mindless mud-slinging after a humiliating defeat in the recent elections in the eastern state of Bihar. "The allegation by Dr. Swamy is entirely false", party's chief spokesman Randeep Surjewala had said in a statement yesterday.

Claiming that his documents of Gandhi's purported declaration before British authorities were authentic, Swamy said Rahul had failed to disclose in his affidavit as a candidate for Lok Sabha elections in 2009 that he was not a citizen of India or that he had set up a company called "Backups" in Britain.

"The certificate of incorporation of the company is with us".
