Our model of the moment Gigi Hadid just rocked up to the American Music Awards looking VERY different.

Fresh off her Victoria's Secret Fashion Show debut, the 20-year-old blond bombshell stunned in a Bao Tranchi mesh choker two piece dress.

Gigi Hadid cut off her famous long locks in favor of a bob haircut at the AMAs.

The television personality accessorised the look with blinged out earrings including one long, intricate one going down her left ear as she held on to a metallic white clutch. Her hair was slicked back without a parting and ironed straight.

While her shimmering silver may not be the most traditional awards gown, the star designed the dress herself and that has to be applauded.

According to Seventeen Magazine, "When E! host Giuliana Rancic asked her if she knew One Direction, she awkwardly shook Harry's hand before greeting Niall Horan, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson all with big hugs".

The model, who arrived solo, had all eyes on her in a gorgeous white skirt and revealing cut-out white top. From a surprise probably-faux bob to an oddly disproportionate amount of creative buns and messy waves, stars like Gigi Hadid, Ciara, Kendall Jenner, and Chloë Grace Moretz had us ready to switch things up.
