Johnny Manziel spotted at Austin club during Cleveland Browns bye week

Cleveland Browns coach Mike Pettine says he's disappointed with Johnny Manziel's off-field behavior and may bench the quarterback. Before the bye week, Manziel told Pettine that he would be on his best behavior. Pettine he had spoken to Manziel on Monday night but was still in the process of finding out details.

The Browns were on a bye week following their 30-9 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Manziel has played in six games this season and has thrown for 933 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions. "Very." But the coach said he is "not in position yet" to make any decision as to the quarterback's status for Cleveland's game Monday night against Baltimore.

According to the report, Manziel was out both Thursday and Friday nights.

TMZ- The old Johnny Manziel is back... and that's not necessarily a good thing.

Last week Manziel said that the club was not "going to have to worry about me this week", and he seems to have lived up to that vow. And since they stink, it would be assumed that everyone would get a chance to relax a bit, get away from football and get refreshed so they can get thing thing turned around. The 2012 Heisman Trophy victor spent 10 weeks in a rehab facility during the offseason.

Manziel, who was cleared by the National Football League last week for a possible violation of the personal conduct policy, insisted he's on solid ground. They still have to be asked about their conversation with him before he left for the bye, what he ended up doing, and whether or not this is a problem.

Now, Manziel isn't the first professional athlete to party and he certainly won't be the last.

We know all this courtesy of the website Busted Coverage, which was quick to highlight Manziel's latest great adventure (if you could call it that).

The Browns have three consecutive home games coming up, starting Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens, and at least two of those games present solid opportunities for Manziel to improve on his 1-3 record this season. He admitted to police October 12 following a domestic incident with his girlfriend that he had a couple of drinks earlier in the day.
