Nicki Minaj Throws SERIOUS Shade at J-Lo's AMA Performance

Host Jennifer Lopez kicked off the AMAs in a dance routine that highlighted some of the year's biggest hits like "Where Are U Now", "Anaconda", "Uptown Funk!" and "Hotline Bling".

A photo captured Minaj's less than thrilled facial expression which was passed around the Internet and joked about, claiming that she was giving the American Idol judge the side eye as she was shaking it to "Anaconda".

Of course, this time Nicki's outrage is much more subdued, but we don't think there's any mistaking the look on that face. As the unnamed performance threw herself into the energetic routine, her outfit split - and it was hard to miss for those tuning in at home as the wardrobe malfunction revealed a little too much of her pert derrière.

The actress, pop star (and former "In Living Color" Fly Girl) opened this year's awards ceremony with a stripped down version of her track "Waiting For Tonight". She ended her acceptance speech with an empowering message for her fans. She also to address those rumors of an apparent diva showdown.

Dion earned a rousing applause after her performance, which started with the Eiffel Tower projected behind her. She also won an award for Favorite Artist Rap/Hip-Hop.

The reason why Nicki Minaj got called out for her behavior at the award show is because she's a woman. Do you think she was shading Jennifer Lopez or looking miserable?

As the hostess with the mostest at the 2015 American Music Awards, there was never any thought Jennifer Lopez would leave her diva antics at the door. Fortunately for her, most of the final moves had her facing the audience.
