Week 12 fantasy football advice

Justin Forsett's arm injury opens up the door for rookie Javorius Allen to shine. Lacy's nagging ankle injuries and poor play have gotten him demoted to a change-of-pace role in the offence; however, in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings, the Alabama product showed glimpses of the old Lacy, rushing for 100 yards on 22 carries.

WR: DeAndre Hopkins is pretty much a good play any week. The Panthers have a cushy Week 13 matchup ahead as they travel to New Orleans. That's because fans want to know not only who to pick but why. High-floor players are desirable in cash games. This giving him the highest upside.

The Arizona Cardinals are favored by a cool 10 points.

That kind of victory of margin is likely given their opponent-the San Francisco 49ers. The Bucs are a top-12 fantasy option and have been lucky to have faced Matt Cassel and Mark Sanchez the last few weeks. But how will they get that lead?

Quarterbacks have burned the Chargers for at least 21 fantasy points in four of the past five games. Don't count on immediate improvements from new defensive coordinator Dennis Allen.

QB: Brian Hoyer is having a surprisingly decent season. Plus, they both have nice defensive matchups this week, with Hoyer going up against the Saints and Johnny Football taking on the Ravens.

TE: Jordan Reed is a big weapon in the red zone for Kirk Cousins. The Saints secondary gives up an embarrassing 28.4 PPG to fantasy QBs this season, the most in the NFL. He's thrown for at least 200 yards in each of his past six starts with two-plus touchdown passes in five of those games. Let's turn the attention to some key fantasy football takeaways from Week 11 action.

The Ravens have been stingy against opposing tight ends this season, but Barnidge still torched them in their first meeting. The Giants' defense allows the second most points to tight ends.

And then we see a wide range of options at wideout.

GPP (n.)-stands for "Guaranteed Prize Pool".

Trying to predict FanDuel ownership percentages for Week 12 is a daunting task mid-week, but I have a crystal ball - or just a knowledge of indicators for popular daily fantasy football lineup picks. Watkins has only had one truly "good" game (Week 9: 8/168/1 line) this season, and despite playing in 7 games this season, the WR has an underwhelming 39 targets, 25 receptions, 368 yards, and 3 TDs to show for it. The Giants are a far easier test, and Crowder could haul in several passes again this week. The Bengals' defense is also in play against a Rams' offense that's allowed 32 fantasy points to D/STs over the past two games. Many DFS players will see the massive drop from the 9K quarterbacks (Rodgers and Brady) down to Philip Rivers at $8,200 and Palmer and opt for the Cards QB based on matchup and recent performance.

At what point will we be touting Heath Miller too much?

RB: The last time the Cardinals and 49ers met this season, Chris Johnson had a big day.

Andre Ellington isn't getting enough touches to be considered a safe starter, but he has proved to be his explosive self at times since his return from injury.
