Arizona Cardinals edge Cincinnati Bengals on last-second field goal

"They were on the ball pretty quick and I am a big communicator on our defensive line", Peko said. Catanzaro has been a placekicking talent for years dating back to his days at Clemson, but it always takes a game-winning field goal for the nation to really care about what kickers do. They've got the ball on the Arizona 25.

Cincinnati (8-1) was rolling until they faced the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football this past week.

Carson Palmer, drafted No. 1 overall by the Bengals in 2004, brings the Arizona Cardinals (7-2) into prime time against Andy Dalton and Cincinnati (8-1) in a matchup of the first-place teams in the NFC West and AFC North.

But the Bengals responded with an 80-yard drive on 14 plays, with Giovani Bernard's 41-yard catch and run on a dump pass setting up Hill's 2-yard touchdown plunge for the go-ahead score. In that game, Palmer had three touchdown passes, one interception and 363 yards passing.

The fact that the Cards beat the breaks off the Bengals defense without their star receiver in Michael Floyd, who sat out this game due to a hamstring injury he suffered versus Seattle last week. "We're looking forward to feeding off of that energy against a team that's going to come in there hungry for a win". The Bengals defensive front continually disrupts offensive game plans this season, and players like Atkins and defensive end Carlos Dunlap can be impact players in this matchup.

Ultimately, the Bengals gave Palmer too much time and he drove the Cardinals for the win.

The NFL's passer rating system is based on completion percentage, yards per attempt, touchdowns per attempt, and interceptions per attempt.

Put down the pitchforks, Bengals fans.

The Bengals displayed the ability to finish their opponent.

-WR Larry Fitzgerald had 90 yards in receptions Sunday, giving him 13,067 for his career. Ellington is a dual threat coming out of the backfield, and has over 100 receiving yards on the season. Andy Dalton has been sacked seven times in the past two games, his highest two-game total of the season. And the Bengals took a gamble that didn't pay off on their final drive.

Arizona (7-2) visited the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football a week ago tonight and became the first team to win at CenturyLink field since they did back in 2013.

Nelson, a slim, slight rookie from Alabama-Birmingham, caught four passes for 142 yards, including a spectacular 64-yard reception for a touchdown to tie it at 14-14 early in the second half. Like Jimmy [Graham]'s catch, that was the one in the end zone.

Newton became the first Carolina quarterback to throw four TD passes in the first half as the Panthers jumped to a 31-14 lead. Punter Drew Butler had a net average of 4 yards, and three of his four punts were downed inside the 20.

The Cardinals rattled off three unanswered touchdowns in the third quarter, eventually building a 31-21 lead into the fourth. A sack and lost fumble by Dalton, however, led to a 24-yard field goal by Catanzaro. Flacco has never missed a game since starting the 2008 season opener. In Week 11, they lost despite scoring 31 points.

The Bengals then tied it with Mike Nugent's 43-yard field goal.

Both these teams had prime time match ups last week, now it's time for them to again be in the spotlight and prove themselves once more this week.

Arizona will play in its second straight Sunday night game.
