BlueStacks 2 Adds Android App Multitasking for Windows

Bluestacks doesn't probably need any introductions as it has been one of the most sought after Android emulators. They would like to mention their sponsers; Andreessen-Horowitz, Samsung, Redpoint, Qualcomm, Intel, Ignition Partners, Radar Partners, Presidio Ventures (a Sumitomo Corporation Company), Citrix, AMD and Helion Ventures.

Not only that, but the new app also offers a "Settings" toolbar, allowing you to change options like the device's location, the volume, and even screen shaking.

The latest version of the BlueStacks App Player mobile-gaming platform is called BlueStacks2. The apps open in a web browser-like interface with tabs, so switching between apps is fluid and seamless.

"Reaching 100 million users, with over 1 billion apps consumed monthly on our platform has made us realize how incredibly lucky we are to touch so many lives", the company wrote.

"When we began, versatile applications, with their fresh determination looked and sounded exquisite on PC and TV", said the BlueStacks Product Manager, Shashi Kant Sharma.

Introducing Welcome Tab & Tab: The Welcome tab lets you discover the most popular apps around the globe.

BlueStacks, which started its life as app player, an Android emulator on PC, has now evolved into BlueStacks 2, a mobile gaming platform that spans mobile, PC and TV. It's accelerated our growth and retention massively over the past year.

Bluestacks 2 makes the Android experience on a PC browser similar to using a browser and now supports multiple tabs. The normal Bluestacks client burns through 89 minutes playing on their first day.

The Bluestack developers say that the new Bluestacks has been optimised to run memory guzzling apps Angry Bird, Chrome, MLB Perfect Inning, Snapchat, Vain Glory without any hitch.
