Xbox One January Games with Gold, new backward compatible titles revealed

This week's episode talks more about the recently unveiled new additions to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility. For a limited time (and we don't know how long), Best Buy is offering a free limited edition Halo 5: Guardians wireless controller for the Xbox One when you purchase from a select batch of Xbox One game console bundles. In fact, the company is continually calling out for fan feedback in terms of the list of possible Xbox 360 titles to come to the Xbox One.

Since launch on November 12, fans have been enjoying Xbox 360 games on Xbox One for the first time ever, logging more than 9 million hours spent playing Xbox 360 games on Xbox One. According to Major Nelson, more titles will be added. The most popular games from the backward compatibility feature are Gears of War 3, Just Cause 2, DiRT 3, Assassin's Creed II and Fallout 3.

The majority of these games are from Microsoft Game Studios, the likes of "Braid", "Fable III", "Halo: Reach", "Hydro Thunder", "Iron Brigade", "Motocross Madness", "Portal: Still Alive", "Spelunky", "Splosion Man" and "Ticket Ride". There are a total of 16 new games to play and that is just the start.

Even with the comment, a number of PS2 games could soon make their way to the PS4.

If you're passionate about Xbox and its community, the Xbox year in review is the flawless recipe for nostalgia. On top of that, it also tells you a few statistics about what your friends have been up to, and what the community as a whole has been doing. This is a title that's meant for players who love making use of great combos ad exploring a unique world with equally unique playable characters.
