Janet Jackson to undergo surgery, postpones 'Unbreakable' tour

Los Angeles, Dec 25 Singer Janet Jackson will have to postpone her entire Unbreakable Tour after doctor's asked her to undergo surgery.

Among her best known numbers are What Have You Done for Me Lately, That's the Way Love Goes and All for You.

But she promised fans that "every tour date will be rescheduled" so "hold on to your tickets". It was scheduled to resume January 9 in Denver and last through June. 24, 2015, that she was postponing all upcoming dates on her “Unbreakable” world tour until the spring so that she could have surgery for an undisclosed medical condition. "Gon' b alright", she wrote. "They will be honored in a special way when the new schedule is announced", Jackson wrote in her announcement Thursday. Please pray for me, my family and our entire company during this hard time. In total there are planned to be more than 100 concerts, with almost 90 of them in North America, three in Asia and the rest in Europe.

She added: 'Every date will be rescheduled.

Unbreakable is her eleventh studio album and the first after the death of her pop star brother Michael Jackson in 2009. It was her seventh to debut at the top of the charts.

Jackson has sold 160 million records worldwide, but has not been in the spotlight much in recent years.
