Rob Kardashian diagnosed with diabetes after being rushed to hospital

Kardashian has been out the spotlight since his 100 pound weight gain. Rob being ashamed of his weight has not only missed or rather avoided numerous family functions but also has not done any photo shoot since June 2015.

The source also disclosed that the tests revealed his blood sugar levels were very high and doctors told him that he needs to lose weight, exercise and dramatically change his diet, or it will get worse.

Rob - whose father Robert Kardashian died aged just 59 from oesophageal cancer in 2003 - agreed he needed to make changes and was later praised by his personal trainer for his hard work in the gym.

E! News reports that Rob is back home after being hospitalized.

The good thing is that Rob Kardashian is now aware of the diabetes and doctors have said that he can get it under control and into remission as long as he eats right and follows a healthy lifestyle.

Last night, Khloe Kardashian - who has always stuck by Rob's side, even when he's been most rebellious - shared a photo of herself looking pensive and gloomy.

His family, including sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian and mother Kris Jenner, have been seen speaking about his issues on their family's reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Rob has been living with his older sister, Khloe, who moved into a new home previous year. He was rarely seen in public, and reports swirled that he was suffering from depression.

Kris Jenner is believed to have cut her holiday short to look after her son.

"Rob is such a great guy", Khloe said of her brother in October. He's charming, charismatic, everything. I'm similar to, 'Where is your will to live? "Let's be around ".

"Once diabetes hits the pancreas, it means the disease has already affected the brain and heart", Dr. Stuart Fischer explained to Radar.
