Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Top 10 Pickups for Week 7

Stefon Diggs: Diggs has taken over the go-to role for the Vikings with 13 catches for 216 yards in his last two games.

This is exactly the type of quarterback you're looking for as you navigate through the bye weeks. The Vikings are a running team, but Diggs is worth owning in all formats. Probably not, but he still surprised everyone with his big Week Six.

If you have Dez Bryant on your roster, you're in a spot where you need a strong push to the playoffs and something to get over the hump...you should seriously consider trading the Dallas Cowboys receiver while he still has trade value. Heading into their Week 6 matchup with the Bengals, however, the Bills had just nine sacks, which had them tied for 19th. Michael may be that guy. That makes James Starks a top waiver target this week. According to CBS Sportsline, he's 60 percent owned in leagues, making him a good get, if you could get your hands on him. LaFell had his best season of his career in 2014, hauling in 74 catches for 953 yards and 7 TDs. Of those QBs listed on byes, Bortles has actually outperformed each one of them in fantasy terms in both Week 5 and Week 6, insane right? Free advice, don't watch the post-game press conference with Philip Rivers, and if you do, it's okay to cry. How will Kendall Wright perform especially if Marcus Mariota is held out this week? It also helps that Bortles is forced to throw more often than not to keep the hapless Jags in contention to win most weeks. He did make the trip to London with the rest of his team. Starks has leapfrogged the injury-hampered Lacy by recording 286 yards on 63 carries thus far. Sometimes, small, shifty wideouts like Edelman has given the Jets cornerback trouble, but anyway you look at it, it's going to be a long day on Revis Island. Pass-catching back Danny Woodhead, who has been ultra-effective for the Chargers, took on a larger role following Gordon's benching. Of course, not every stud running back faltered this week, and a few of you were quite pleased with the outcomes. While they are still searching for an identity on defense, the Eagles may have found their rhythm in Week 6, which could easily correlate to an underwhelming performance from Newton. He looked impressive in Seattle at times, but never really got a chance to shine on a full-time basis because of Marshawn Lynch. Lamar Miller finally looked like the running back we saw last season.

It's obvious that the Chargers desperately want Allen to be heavily involved in their offense, and the Raiders may not have the talent in the secondary to stop him.

Willie Snead - Saints: Snead may not be a household name in the National Football League community, but he is apparently well known in the Saints huddle and sideline. He's emerged as the No. 2 option behind second-year receiver Brandin Cooks in the prolific Saints passing attack. I'm looking for a sneaky fantasy game out of Snead this week, and so should you. Bortles has the weapons to throw to with the return of Julius Thomas, in addition to Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson. In his National Football League debut against the tough Broncos in Week 5, he caught six of his 10 targets for 87 yards. Not only that but most of the running backs that did score the Fantasy points in Week 6 are practically useless in Fantasy play.

Joe Flacco - Ravens: The Ravens got Steve Smith back, but that doesn't mean their WR woes are now over.

With that being said, it's about time we take a look at this week's Start'Em Sit'Em.

Though Bryant did not pace all wide receivers in fantasy points on Sunday, he came close, his 25 finishing only one shy of the Houston Texans' DeAndre Hopkins for the positional lead. Throughout his previous two games, Gurley has averaged almost 6.3 yards per carry. Give up on him just as the Redskins have!

The veteran is back with the Colts and his role should expand as the season rolls on. His ownership has shot up to around 15 percent on Yahoo in the recent weeks. Charles Johnson has been dealing with a rib injury and Mike Wallace a knee injury, opening the door to more reps for Diggs. He needs to be benched or possibly even dropped in deeper leagues. He is a TD-or-bust option that provides minimal upside due to lack of yards.

It was good news and bad news for the Bills yesterday. Don't get cute in those DFS leagues and try to save cap space by using Hogan or Woods this week. And seeing how Manning is only throwing 1.17 touchdowns per game on average, you can't expect Daniels to put up even mediocre numbers. His 24/183/2 line this year is decent, but not exceptional.

Verdict: Believe it. A rotation of West and Knile Davis just isn't going to get it done for a team that figures to be playing from behind for the remainder of the year. I'd be careful with putting too much stock in the Steelers defense this week.
