Bills' Percy Harvin considering retirement over ailing hip

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Percy Harvin is reportedly contemplating retirement after suffering a hip injury. However, according to Adam Schefter, the 27-year-old former Florida Gator is just frustrated with his nagging knee and hip injuries but "not considering retirement" at the moment. However, both Mike Garafolo and Alex Marvez of FoxSports.com later confirmed Carucci's initial report with sources of their own.

"The Bills are "comfortable with the possibility of moving on without" Harvin, a league source said".

Harvin, according to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, is at home dealing with his hip injury. He's missed 29 games in his six-plus-year career.

Harvin, who will become a free agent after the season, won't be the only player missing when the Bills play the Jacksonville Jaguars in a 9:30 a.m. EDT game (shown only on Yahoo and on local TV in Buffalo and Jacksonville). His hip has been a problem in particular, as he underwent surgery on it prior to the 2013 campaign.

Harvin is not joining the team in London for the Jaguars game, and it's possible he could be done for his career.

The Bills (3-3) are beseiged by injuries, including quarterback Tyrod Taylor (knee), wide receiver Sammy Watkins (ankle) and defensive tackle Kyle Williams (knee).
