Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact receiving update with Stagefright patch

Smartphone makers were quick to release patches for their new and slightly older devices.

The Sony Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact smartphones, which were made official last month and released this month, are now receiving a software update which brings along fix for the Stagefright exploit.

Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5, Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, Sony Xperia C4, Sony Xperia M4 Aqua, Sony Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia M5, Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia Tablet Compact, Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, Sony Xperia Z3 Plus, Xperia Z4 Tablet, are confirmed to be getting the Android Marshmallow upgrade. You should also notice updated Home versions, re-optimised phone heating issue, RAM and Calendar optimisation, fingerprint scanner improvements and shutter function.

The new update has build number 32.0.A.6.152 and it's compatible with Sony Xperia Z5 Compact E5803 and E5823 models. It has a size of 281 MB so it's recommended to download the update file through a WiFi network.

Before installing the ROM, make sure that the battery of the device is fully charged or at least 80 percent full, so it won't shutdown during the installation process.

The iPhone 6s camera has the 12 MP iSight camera and 5MP for the FaceTime camera and it's also able to take a 1.5 seconds before a photo is chosen whereas the Sony Xperia Z5 has a 23 MP rear-facing camera and a 5.1 MP front-facing camera. It isn't permanent either as the seals aren't 100% airtight, meaning that the more you press, the more air escapes meaning that you will need to reset the seals to get it working again.
