Michael Bennett says he wouldn't want Greg Hardy as a teammate

There are those who suggest that the charges being expunged from his record should mean it's time to move on.

Not that Hardy needs to express any regret to get back on the field or anything.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones defended his star defensive end even after the photos came out. It's obvious because owner/G.M. Jerry Jones already has made it clear that the photos have no impact on the team's attitude toward Hardy.

Hardy was playing for the Carolina Panthers in 2014 when he was arrested for beating, strangling, tossing his former girlfriend around the room and into a few walls and furniture and also threatening to kill her. In July 2015, a judge found him guilty of domestic violence related charges and gave him a suspended jail sentence and 18 months' probation. After the photos of Hardy's ex-girlfriend released by Deadspin on Friday received a similar outcry, Rice said people shouldn't need visuals to see domestic violence for what it is. "We as an organization take [this very] seriously".

"It really shouldn't take photos or anything to understand the severity of domestic violence", Rice told ESPN's Hannah Storm on "SportsCenter" on Sunday, via CBSSports.com.

The Cowboys signed Hardy knowing that he'd done something that had gotten him in trouble with the law and with the league. He appealed, seeking a jury trial, but the case was dismissed in February 2015, after Holder stopped cooperating with investigators.

After the Glenn Hardy pictures were published, Jones is under increasing pressure to let Hardy go, despite his intention of signing the alleged attacker to a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract.

If Holder was somehow responsible for the extensive injuries she sustained, why the apology?

The league waited to gain evidence from Hardy's case before suspending him, but arbitrator Harold Henderson ruled the 10-game ban was too long because the tougher policy had established six games as the initial punishment in domestic cases. We entered into the agreement with Greg fully understanding that there would be scrutiny and criticism.

Instead of just complaining about Greg Hardy, we want to do something to help the cause.
