Peter Capaldi teased that this Saturday's episode, Face the Raven could be Clara's last.

Peter Capaldi confirmed that Saturday’s episode “Face the Raven” will be Clara’s last episode, and while speaking with Metro, he stated her departure won’t be a happy affair: In his words: It’s a sad one, gripping and very unusual.

The clock is ticking down on Jenna Coleman's tenure as companion Clara Oswald on Doctor Who. I do not want to go in to the little print of it, nevertheless it's unhappy.'& on whether or not she can be gone for good, he added: "It's the complete of her story".

The 12th and current Doctor Who is now in town for the Doctor Who Festival, as the 9th season of the revived series comes to a close.

Digital Spy have acquired a picture from tonight's episode which does seem to suggest that Clara's exit will indeed be cloaked in tragedy, although precise details of this are still being kept tightly under wraps.
