Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 Officially Teased Ahead Of Nov

Xioami might be coming up with their first smartwatch, and it is alleged to be announced alongside the Redmi Note 2 Pro, which is scheduled to launch on November 24th. The company hasn't even specified that they would be launching Redmi Note 2 Pro, as the products are being kept secret.

Notably, Xiaomi is giving the Mi Pad 2 quite the makeover on the outside.

First of all, it's visible that the Mi Pad 2 has a clean design line and a metallic body, suggesting a quality build. The power button and volume rocker are located on the right-hand side of the device, and the teaser further shows a rear camera in the upper right corner.

The photo features a bit of the rear and one side of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2.

Lin Bin also recently teased a gold-colored metal smartphone with a fingerprint reader in back just below the camera.

The Mi Pad 2 is expected pack a few upgraded specs as well. At a few point, sources claimed that Windows 10 will be pre-installed to Mi Pad 2, but updated info shows that Android will provide the tablet's OS. Looking at the teaser image of Mi Pad 2, it is clear that the device has no LED flash.

In a post on Weibo, the company's co-founder shared a picture of what looks like a metal tablet. It will reportedly be powered by an Intel processor with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage space in tow. The device is expected to run Xiaomi MIUI 7.

The 2GB RAM variant of the new Redmi Note 2 Pro is likely to be priced at 1,099 Yuan (approximately Rs 11,300), and the 3GB RAM model at 1,499 Yuan (approximately Rs 15,500).
