My father is innocent: Rahul Mukerjea

CBI while demanding extension of Peter's Custody told a local court that financial transactions appear to be the motive of the murder and that it has established Peter's involvement in the larger conspiracy.

The CBI alleged in court that Indrani and Peter hatched the murder plot in early 2012. He stayed at the CBI office for about an hour and returned again in the afternoon, according to officials.

"Peter played an active and crucial role in the case", stated the 1000-page CBI chargesheet. Sheena demanded a three bedroom flat in Mumbai from Indrani.

According to them, the CBI, which will seek further remand of Peter as his custody is expiring on Monday, has also summoned those persons who used to handle his accounts with relevant documents comprising his income tax details. When I asked if Sheena was her daughter, she scolded me.

Rahul provided several documents of Sheena Bora to the CBI officials, the officer said, adding that those are the documents with which she was blackmailing Indrani Mukerjea.

"Later, I tried calling Sheena, but instead of taking my calls she started sending text messages".

 

However, he has revealed some investments running into crores of rupees in fixed deposits and immovable properties in Britain and India in 2010-2011, but has not disclosed the source of the funds for the same, the CBI said.
