Manchester City CEO Meets With Real Madrid Official to Discuss Isco Transfer

It is believed that Madrid would be open to offloading Isco for £35million and the transfer coming into fruition remains a huge possibility.

However, he seemingly can't hold down a regular spot at Real Madrid as he has to challenge the expensive trio of Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and James Rodriguez for a starting berth.

The 23-year-old has been in and out of the Madrid first team since joining from Malaga, but would face similar competition for places in Manchester.

Isco has been a long-term favourite of current City manager Manuel Pellegrini, and despite uncertainty over the Chilean's future at the helm it appears the club are interested in the player regardless.

If indeed City are able to secure the services of Isco, it has been claimed by the Daily Mirror that Pellegrini will look to dispense with Samir Nasri.

"Real Madrid superstar Isco is hoping to pave the way for a move to Manchester City".

Isco arrived at the Bernabeu from Malaga in a deal worth £23 back in 2013.

It would not be a good sign to see Isco leaving the club.
