Fantasy Football Week 8

He made several plays in that San Diego game last week that few players could replicate, and he's still figuring things out. Consistency will be the key.

Two weeks in a row with nine targets and double digit fantasy points means Amendola is once again a viable fantasy option. Foster owners will have to formulate a plan over the next couple of weeks at least. This week New England faces a rejuvenated Miami Dolphins squad that has won their last two games, but nobody has stopped the Patriots offense this season and another big game is expected from Brady and company. Even If Randle is healthy, McFadden may get the start in Week Eight. So when he plays, he goes into your lineup. Rivers didn't meet expectations versus the Oakland Raiders in Week 7, but he still leads the league in pass yards and should throw a lot in Week 8 because the Chargers don't have a reliable rushing attack (87.1 yards per game, 29th in the league).

Analysis: The arrow points up for Dolphins' players across the board. He'll be a perfectly fine FLEX going forward.

Miller has much more value and upside than Graham, as most RB1 or RB2 running backs would when compared to a tight end.

I still can't get over how fast the National Football League season is going. Either way, McFadden is a must add, according to of Coach Esser. Keep playing him, but if you have another option like a Drew Brees or a Matt Ryan, go with them instead. As for a prediction for carries, expect for Michael's load to increase, but with McFadden likely retaining a greater percentage of the carries.

- Arian Foster gave his fake teams one last effort before tearing his Achilles and leaving our game for the rest of the year. No way around it - huge loss for his owners. The additional bad news is that we've seen the Texans' backup RBs perform earlier this year when Foster was out, and amounted to anything more than an RB3 at best.

Everyone is trying to pick up Alfred Blue off waivers with Arian out, but Darren McFadden is the better pickup. RB3 remains the ceiling for both players. He was the starter when Foster missed the first three weeks of the season with an injury, and his Week 3 performance included 139 rushing yards and a touchdown.

It has been a insane year for fantasy football, but I'm sure you already knew that. If you own Evans, don't sell low on him. He's a smart guy and I can absolutely see him walking away from the game before the game takes an even greater toll on his body. Washington posted "DeAndre Hopkins-like" numbers, while Hopkins posted "Nate Washington-like" numbers (6 catches, 50 yards, 0 TDs). He's poised for a solid 2nd half and is a decent match up play. If you're looking for an upgrade at WR, look elsewhere. Those of you in keeper leagues should be excited to own Lockett, but for yearly leagues, keep expectations in check. Due to the nature of the Seahawks' offense, his weekly performances will be somewhat uneven. There are all sorts of leagues out there with different levels of competition and varying player pool depths, so I will have a few picks with under 60% ownership, a few under 30%, 15%, and usually at least one deep sleeper under 5%.
