Buyers will want to check out the new Apple TV for a number of hot new features, including Siri voice control with deep search support, an App Store for third-party apps, and support for the new Siri Remote.

Apple has been aggressively expanding its presence in the UAE market in the a year ago, with big billboard advertisements and early launches of its devices.

According to the latest report from the UAE's Telecoms Regulatory Authority, Apple has been increasing its market share in the country to reach 14.2 per cent as of Q2 2015.

Apple declined to say whether it had a local partner for its stores.

Van Baker, an analyst at U.S.-based tech research firm Gartner, said the move into the Emirates made sense for Apple.

"Between the two stores, there will be 150 employees who speak 40 different languages and come from 30 different nationalities", Beckman said.

"We're really excited as these stores are really an extension into the community, and the community of the UAE is incredible - it's creative, it's innovative, it's just thriving enterprises", she noted.
