UFC Champion Chris Weidman Joins Goz & Dubs Ahead Of UFC 194

For years now, Chris Weidman has been overcoming the top challenges the middleweight division has to offer.

But the champion, who won the title from Anderson Silva, was quick to disagree. And after I beat Luke, they are going to say he sucks, too.

Weidman, in an exclusive interview with Sky Sports, has claimed that his close-knit group of coaches understood how he could bring down the mighty Silva despite having fought just a handful of times. "I have a great fan base, but no matter what, there are still going to be doubters". "I'll tell you one thing, if you want to know what it's like to walk out in an arena, watch that movie". So for your accomplishments to be beaten down and made less of what they really were, of course I came in with a point to prove when I came here.

If you throw out a flash knockout in 2013 from a quite-possibly-juicing Vitor Belfort, Rockhold has not lost since his second professional fight in 2007. "I'm used to the pressure", the former Strikeforce middleweight champion explained. MMA's premiere promotion was thought to have housed all the best talent, but Daniel Cormier, Robbie Lawler, Ronda Rousey and Luke Rockhold flipped the script.

As the reigning, defending, undefeated and undisputed UFC middleweight champion, you would think that the 13-0 standout from the Serra-Longo Fight Team would be a massive superstar, but that isn't the case. I control as many things as I can so that I can work hard - from there, whatever happens, happens.

In a nutshell, we have two very well-rounded fighters here, both in the absolute prime of their careers.

"They'll have excuses and reasons why Luke sucks after this fight".

Weidman said by the time he returned to school all the way until he was in the sixth grade, everyone believed that following the zipper incident, doctors were forced to amputate his private parts. I've fought guys with better submissions than him, and other guys with better wrestling than him. He boasts wins over Jacare Souza (Brazilian jiu jitsu), Michael Bisping (striking), and Lyoto Machida (karate).

"I will move forwards looking to punch and knock him out and if he protects himself from that I will take him down and choke him out".

Never short on confidence, Rockhold has cut a curious figure in the time since he beat Lyoto Machida and earned himself a title shot in April.
