New 'Captain America: Civil War' concept art unveiled

The previous "Captain America" movies made a combined $436 million in domestic gross. In an annotated piece of concept art featuring members of Team Iron Man doing battle with Team Captain America, it's noted that Rhodey has a new name as part of the Avengers lineup. MCU newcomers Chadwick Boseman and Tom Holland will debut as Black Panther and Spider-Man, while Daniel Bruhl stars as the evil Baron Zemo. A popular fan theory is that Barnes was responsible for the death of Tony Stark's father Howard, and this drives Iron Man to officially count the Winter Soldier as his enemy.

If you click over to CBM, you can see a larger image which has a key listing the various characters; that one above, which is definitely three times bigger than the War Machine figure next to it, is listed as Giant-Man.

For those unfamiliar with Civil War, "Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War" picks up where "Avengers: Age of Ultron" left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity".

As expected, War Hammer will be on Team Iron Man. The film's official also showed War Hammer's pulverized body being cradled by a distraught Tony Stark so rumors started swirling that it could also be the death of the character.

Marvel Studios has released a new synopsis for its upcoming movie Captain America: Civil War. In Civil War, he is attempting to put the past behind him, but the government isn't ready to let it go.

While many of those involved in the project have previously joked that the latest movie revolving around the First Avenger is going to be an Avengers 2.5, it would seem that it is less of a joke and more of a reality.

There is not much new footage to ponder over, but it is interesting that Marvel thought that a more concise trailer with less action and more attention to story would have a greater appeal to an worldwide audience, while favoring a more effects-heavy version for American viewers.

The stage is set, the Captain America: Civil War cast has been revealed, and one question remains.
