David Spade: Obama is 'thirsty' for attention

Spade, much like his memorable celebrity takedowns on "Weekend Update", did not hold back when it came to Obama and the first lady hobnobbing in the bright lights. Presidents Clinton, Carter, Ford, and Nixon have all played roles on popular televisions shows or in movies either during or after their service to our country and let's not forget that President Ronald Reagan was a career actor before he was sworn in as president.

Revisiting these notions on Sunday, TMZ shared the above video where Spade not only repeats his stance but adds FLOTUS to the equation by saying, "Michelle Obama's on "Ellen" more than I am". It sounds weird to me, and it's just too much.

"Why is Obama on Bear Grills (sic) trying to survive in the tundra?"

has said in the past that he found President Obama's participation on reality shows is not exactly becoming for the leader of the free world. Isnt the idea to keep the prez alive? "What president is doing reality shows?" And why is he on a reality show?Wtf? It's just - I'm not used to it, and they're out. "I'm like, 'Leave that to Bradley Cooper'". I think they're going to do fine, but they're just sort of plotting after the White House. "All right, guy. Relax, you got it".

Spade's commentary was so thought-provoking, I had to share some of my own thoughts and questions.
