Despite injuries, issues, Broncos, Patriots stay in the hunt

The Patriots offense averaged 29.1 points this season and 374.4 yards per game and had a plus seven turnover ratio and they are coming off of a dominating win over the Chiefs last week in a game they scored a touchdown on their opening drive and never looked back.

The Patriots visit the Denver Broncos at 2:05 p.m. CST Sunday in the AFC Championship Game. The video is only 14 seconds long, but they crammed an impressive amount of misinformation into the broadcast in that short amount of time. In a game that came down to one play, that may have made a difference.

One of the biggest offensive threats for the New England Patriots is tight end Rob Gronkowski. New England has the 9th ranked run defense and we all know Peyton Manning's arm is completely shot at this stage of his career. So the Broncos should have a good chance in this game. With that said, I don't believe the Denver offense can score enough points against the New England defense to make up for the shortcomings of Peyton Manning at this point in his career.

Peyton Manning will be the marquee matchup in the AFC Championship Game, but another showdown in Sunday's contest will actually be the deciding factor for who gets to make the trip to the Super Bowl. "I think having home field advantage is huge".

I think it will be the Patriots that advance to back to back Super Bowls for one reason, and one reason only. They're known for their hit "Best Day of My Life", which the Broncos and Patriots hope applies to them at the end of the afternoon.

Denver is also tied for the third-fewest touchdown passes allowed at 19 as well. Gary Kubiak will be coaching his first Super Bowl as a head coach.
