Kasich: Trump Plan to 'Round up 11 Million People' Is 'Ludicrous'

His name is John Kasich, the governor of Ohio.

Kasich said, "When we start talking about abolishing medicare or making it voluntary, that scares the living daylights out of seniors and it's not responsible". These plans will put us trillions and trillions of dollars in debt.

John Kasich had harsh words for Republican rivals Dr. Ben Carson and Donald Trump at the third GOP presidential primary debate on Wednesday, calling their tax plans a "fantasy" and mocking them for what he said was a series of unrealistic promises about their future presidencies. If we're gonna reform welfare for poor people, we ought to reform it for rich people, as well.

He didn't mince words on proposals to deport illegal immigrants or on who should take credit for Ford Motor Co.'s Ohio expansion, both direct hits at billionaire businessman Donald Trump. Trump said, striking a typically defiant tone. Fracking injects water and sand underground to extract natural gas and oil from shale rock miles underground.

"Number two, this was the man who was...at Lehman Brothers, and nearly took us done with it too", Trump said. But then his poll numbers tanked. "He was on the board and he was a managing general partner". And he got nasty, and he got nasty. "That's important for you to know".

Kasich shot back by saying he traveled around the country learning about how jobs work while he was at Lehman Brothers, giving him the economic chops to be the leader of the free world.

This "nasty" approach from Kasich was calculated, and one that many other GOP candidates, including Bobby Jindal have tried: Fight fire with fire against Trump.

"Part of being president is speaking the truth to the American people".
