Switch Between Multiple Instagram Accounts Now on Android

Instagram has been working on the multiple account support on Android for sometime and some lucky users already have access to the new feature through its beta version.

Instagram is finally piloting a long-clamored-for feature that could make managing your business' social media accounts infinitely more seamless. Once you have several accounts embedded on your profile you can hit on the selector which is located at the page's top and pick from multiple profiles. The feature is reportedly live on version 7.12.0, which will be available to anyone on the Instagram Android beta.

Currently, a person can log into only one account at a time at can't switch between accounts.

No, you still can't "regram" and you still won't be able to schedule posts (which are the two other most requested features) but at least now, you'll be able to log in to multiple accounts on your device, if you're part of the beta program or if you download and install the APK.

Instagram's timeline is still not clear just yet, or even whether the firm's final line of attack might be precisely what you see in the beta test at this moment. All you have to do is go to the app's settings and tap "Add Account". But the new feature comes at good time, since Instagram has mentioned that they are cutting down the access for many third-party apps with their recent API revision.

It will allow users to use multiple accounts on a single installation of the Instagram app. For brands, publications, and artists that have multiple Instagram accounts to manage the ability to quickly switch between them is an advantage. However, for now, this is only available on Android and is yet to be made available on iOS.
