Bindi Irwin And Derek Hough Win 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 21

Just hours after winning season 21 of "Dancing With the Stars", Bindi Irwin was on "Good Morning America" on Wednesday to chat about the big win and how her life has changed since she's been on the show.

The heartfelt performance by Irwin and her dance partner, Derek Hough to Leona Lewis' "Footprints In The Sand", incorporated the illusion of a third member on the stage representing the Irwin's famous father.

"This experience was a bonding experience, it was something I will always remember", Carter told co-host Erin Andrew.

"Bindi and Derek!" Tom Bergeron announced.

The camera shot to the judging panel and her mother Terri, who all looked visibly moved by Bindi's emotion. He was filming underwater for his show.

Reports previously suggested the young Australian would be unable to collect her estimated $US230K pay cheque from the show because a court demanded proof her dad Steve is dead.

Bindi shared a photo in her which seems to be the last photo taken with her father. If that didn't cement her victory, nothing would.

Watching the stars improve week after week is the best part of "DWTS" and Irwin's adaptability, coupled with her too-cute-for-words smile, pretty much made her a shoe-in. Since Disney owns , she'd be a natural for positive teen movies. I mean, she sounded awful on her own song, so I think it is time for her to put that mic down and retire!

Alek, being the ever gracious hero, takes the news in stride, waving to the massive crowd that gathered at The Grove in Los Angeles, California.
