Inbox by Gmail beefs up trip features and attachments

, Google's next-gen email client for mobile and the web, has its fair share of marquee features, but one of its most useful is its ability to bundle emails about an upcoming trip into a single Trip Bundle.

These bundles can be moved offline and stored directly on your smartphone or tablet, meaning you won't need to worry about spotty WiFi on your flight to see what leg of the trip is up next. Additionally, it's now possible to manually add an email to a Trip Bundle using the "Move to..." functionality.

Google wants to make your holiday travels a little less stressful.

Only one week from now you will get the chance to share your photos and your trip plans and updates with your dear ones with just a tap.

reports that the app also includes a HotelTonight and Eat24 "so you can track your order or view booking information right from Inbox".

You've told us how much you love that Trip Bundles summarize all of the important info about your trip.

Pretty neat, huh? Inbox's usefulness is evolving quite nicely. From there, you can still open up the camera or other photo albums, but this should make adding your most recent snaps to an email a lot quicker. This would help you save time, effort and even sanity if you intend to travel this festive season. The app, which first launched in October 2014 to bring some more organization to your Gmail inbox, was initially only available to those with an invitation but is now available for all iOS and Android users. Google says that these new features will be rolling out over the next week.
