Taylor Swift's "1989 World Tour LIVE" coming exclusively to Apple Music

It was back during this past summer when Swift said that she would not let the yet-to-launch Apple Music stream any tunes from her chart-topping "1989" album.

If you weren't one of the 76, 000 fans who witnessed Taylor Swift in concert when she brought her "1989" tour to Australia, you'll soon be able to stream the live performance exclusively on Apple Music.

"I have a little surprise for you", tweeted Taylor Swift yesterday, adding the hashtags #1989WorldTourLIVE and #applemusic for good measure. You'll also have to wait a wee bit, as the film is scheduled to debut on Sunday, December 20. Apple officials were not immediately available for comment.

In the increasingly competitive world of streaming music, high profile exclusive content provides Apple Music with a clear point of difference and help stave off commodification. In June, the singer crusaded against Apple Music in a blog post for not planning to pay artists during the service's three-month free trial period.

Not only that, Swift also pulled out her entire catalog of music from Spotify in November 2014, and refused to offer her "1989" album for streaming.

The singer announced the film, which will document the world tour for her album "1989", on her Twitter the day after finishing touring.

When her 1989 world tour concert video goes public on December 20, there will be only one place to watch it. And that place will be Apple Music.

Taylor Swift just turned 26 and to celebrate, she's giving the ultimate gift to Swifties everywhere. Several personalities, such as Justin Timberlake, Selena Gomez, Ellen DeGeneres, Wiz Khalifa and Mick Jagger, appeared as Swift's special guests. Are they watching me right now?

Apple Music is a music streaming service developed by Apple Inc.
